What do GR Authors do with their rejected items? What is the simplest way to give away freebies? (As you can guess, i am building up a little library of ‘unacceptable’ items!)

I ignore my rejected items, I would love to give them away but that won’t happen till I have a personal website set up.

No, never share my rejected items, always improve it.
Sharing it for free is one option, another one is to sit on it. eventually you will forget about it and one day you will look at it with a new pair of eyes and figure out way to improve it instantly or implement something from it to something you are working at the moment.

I never try to improve them only once I did when rejection was very soft. Few items I sent to the another place where they were accepted so I think GR has high standards which is good. But on general I never look them again.:)
I put up a rejected item on Creattica as a freebie to drive traffic to a new blog I’d set up. Worked a treat 
I put them on the naughty step
