thx Mark, good to hear it… that would be especially good using grid view like this: so that mouseover, a customer can quickly preview many different projects to buy (also I’d expend the grid view a lot, double it’s length, so there’s a lot more content on the page, fwiw, eg showing 60-120 images, each of which when is moused over will autoplay/show video preview)... looking forward to seeing what you folks can come up with in 2011

It’s long overdue. It’s also crucially, critically, superlatively important that the author can set at which point the preview starts playing. If not, you’re going to find all authors forced to make work that puts something utterly bombastic and impressive in the first 5 seconds. This is not good. An author needs to be able to structure the project freely and creatively, aside from all marketing considerations and then be able to show the buyers the best part.
In the meantime, it would be very good if the 590×300 poster image were to display on rollover. The code already exists for this… we know that from Graphic River.

that’s a very good point felt re letting authors specify when the preview starts; that way they can have it play at a high-energy spot that’s a good showcase (like second 20 of a 1 minute clip), while having proper buildup in the early part of the project as well, without making that the part that shows first… I “get” your point, agree, it’s a good one.. otherwise people start off with loud impacts first 10 seconds without having well designed overall projects
