seeking your advice...

Friends,

I’m not able to take a decision on this. Hence seeking your suggestion/advice on what should be done. I’ve an e-newsletter item and a customer has purchased it. I’ve started working on its html version but I’m not finished with it yet. Its gonna take quite a lot of time. The customer is requesting me to send the un-finished/un-tested version of the same.

I want to upload this file on Themeforest. But the customer that has purchased it already is asking me to send the html files because he/she needs it desperately. So I’m not sure sending the file to customer prior to uploading it on the Themeforest?

What you guys suggest?

Is your customer aware you will sell a copy of this newsletter template? This is very important prior to deciding the order of things.

Firstly thank you for your response. Yes, customer is aware of that.

I wouldn’t give it to them. They purchased it knowing (or they should have anyway) that HTML was not included in what was purchased. If the purchaser needs something so desperately, there are plenty of items they can choose from on Themeforest, otherwise, they can sit tight and wait for the item to be posted for sale, when you’re good and ready to put it there. And s/he can pay for the HTML version, not be handed it. Your work is too good for that

Yes it is likely once they get the item they won’t pay you. So it is better to it that way.

Thank you iamthwee, Yes probably, s/he hasn’t mentioned about paying for it, just asked to send the unfinished version. But, I would rather have it completed/tested and put on TF for sale and then send a link to purchase.
