I really wished I could have gone to Art School…Commerce was my major in college, I was also playing music professionally, my first design was for my bands visiting card and that’s pretty much how I got hooked.

Self-taught. Dabbling with Photoshop started as an after school hobby in during my high-school years. It was still a hobby for many years after, until one day while at University (studying modern languages) I got a random e-mail asking if I’d be willing to design a book cover. I wasn’t confident enough in my capabilities yet the pay was tempting during that time, and sort of stuck to my freelanced digital art since. And it’s oddly easier to find jobs doing this rather than the stuff I’ve got a diploma for.

Are you a self taught designer or did you go to Art school??? I am a self taught designer. Unfortunately, in India we dont have good design colleges/schools or learning centres.
I love the idea of the centre is very interesting

Went to art college, studied graphic design. I worked in London as an art editor in the days of paper, photocopiers and spray mount. Along came the computers and we were all too scared to use them! They used to sit in the corners of our studios gathering dust! I learnt html etc with blood, sweat and tears! I love it though!
