Hi guys
Just wondering, is it ok to create small tutorials for scripts iv bought here?
What i mean is, some scripts take some real work to get working with wordpress for instance, or some scripts can do a lot more with only some relatively minor changes, Is it ok for me to write up some tuts to post on my site about what to do and how to use certain CC items (linking to the items Envato page from the tut)
Only reason im asking is as I buy more and more off here, im noticing more and more authors have some terribly vague docs and rarely show up to offer support to buyers and I think maybe I can help anyone looking to replicate something I may have done

- Bought between 100 and 499 items
- Referred between 10 and 49 users
Sounds a sweet idea, feel free to contact me if you want to do any for my items.. haha … but i dont see any problem may be good for affiliate links as well if you also look at is as, eg.. you need to send bulk email but it keeps sending as spam, i used xx product and it works great, heres a tutorial
Was thinking affiliate links would be ideal too. Thinking about it, i have had a few emails from folks asking how iv done something with stuff from here so would be better for me to write up something a post it rather than send help out on a 1 to 1 basis

It’s always better to ask the authors, it can happen that they write tutorials based on their items so you don’t begin something that is about to be published

Thats prob a good idea, but most of the time I only start hacking away at things if I cant find any pre-existing instructions for specific tasks – still, I think ill send a courtesy email to any authors i use

Thanks Danny! Let me know when you have it implemented
Personally, I wouldn’t mind, but I don’t think I fit into your category as the user guide I provide pretty much covers everything and I like to be there to provide support.
I don’t think most people would mind, but you may find that some authors don’t reply to you. I’ve written to authors about things (such as cross-marketing) and just hear nothing.
