Even if I could do such wizardry in Photoshop (I mean, the technical stuff), I would be never able to create something like this, because I can’t “imagine” things like that. I mean, when i see something, I can “see” that there’s “something” missing, but I can’t never tell what that is… For example, that little shadow (or it’s color) or that little dot, scratch, crack in the road, blur on distant city skyline… It’s all about details, but not everybody is good at arranging them
I guess I will stick with sound effects

What’s impressive to me isn’t so much the Photoshop technique, but the fact that he has a very strong vision of what he wants to make, and clearly knows exactly how to make it using the source images that he has gathered.

Amazing outcome, but part of the amazement is also due to the fast-forward. I don’t deny his vision, attention to details, and again, the amazing outcome. I personally just find him average (ok, far above average) but I know quite a few artists out there that reach similarly astounding results with PS (each with their own strong points and lows of course, such as this one is rather Movie-poster / cartoon, where others might do it more realistically yet lack his drama and composition skills), and all the sped up vids on youtube are just simply compressed awesomesauce in under 10 minutes.
Thanks for sharing either way! Was an awesome watch and the music just spot on.

I wonder if I could direct any of those 2 million hits to my AJ page so they can buy the two music tracks of mine used in this video.![]()
Ha! I thought they were familiar sounding AJ tracks but didn’t want to post the title as “is this your music?”.
Well I am even more thrilled now as the work wouldn’t be nearly as impressive without the awesome sound-scape. Very nice work Gareth!
Nice work, I’ve watched his earlier works also, he makes great stuff :D…..........I like the resources he’s got…
I think i can do that
but i don`t have his patience
You really gotto love PS to spend that much time on an image, i like moving stuff better like the code that moves and styles a template. I think it takes as much imagination as the PS ninja. Maybe even more. Yup for sure more.
