True, but chances are pretty high that the problem lies within the banks, not envato. And they cant exactly call the bank at 4 in the morning to ask whats up.

Please,anyone from the staff to contact each other and disscuss or search what is going on and if this delay is because of this.Because people like me and many others here around the marketplaces are full time VH authors and we make our livings from Envato.One missed monthly salary means whole month no incomes for the family,especialy in poor countryes like mine.This is more than a serious thing.All guys from our country still didnt recieved any Swift transfers already 3 days,i already asked them and i already asked few times in my bank.There are no gtransfers.I will really waiting non stop someone from the staff to tell us something about this!

seems this is the reason we’re not getting paid. high probability that envato’s bank accounts has been freezed or not allowed for overseas transactions. it might take long to solve it if that s true. good luck for all of us.

Hence my flagging for staff reply, and mentioning it on the private board. Will also let an email pass around, but I was just letting everyone know that either way, the answer might not come any sooner than 8-9 A.M., Saturday or not. :)

I’ve contacted our Accounts department and let them know. It’s the weekend so we probably won’t hear anything back till Sunday/Monday.

It’s likely just a delay in the back transfer process which can take a few days and it spanning the weekend and all. Please open a Support ticket if you haven’t already. In the future, opening a Support ticket is always your best option rather than just posting to the forum. A lot of times these threads can get lost in the shuffle, and we have no way of tracking the progress unless it goes through our support system. Thanks!

How does the money make its way back to our accounts if that story of the credit cards has something to do with authors not getting paid?

Hello!

I processed all the payments on Wed 15th Aug AEST . About a dozen transactions (a very small % of the total) failed as is common each month. This is usually because of an error in the request (i.e. paypal details were wrong) or a problem with the user’s account. The accounts department follows these up individually via support to make sure the payment gets done – but there will be a delay while we sort these cases out.

I think its also possible that SWIFT payments can get delayed by intermediary banks but I don’t have any control over this :-(

If you are still experiencing a problem then the best thing is to lodge a ticket with support and we’ll follow up with you and sort it out.

Hi All,

Checking into the transaction that have been flagged by you it seems the issue is limited to the SWIFT payments only. Checking with our online banking portal it appears at this stage that only a small number of SWIFT transaction actually went through with the majority or so not completing despite the funds being available for all the transactions.

At this point we’re not sure why this has occurred but we’re investigating this right now. This is a little difficult as I am not sure if we can contact someone within the bank on a Saturday to investigate. I will post again in the next several of hours with an update on the situation. I hope to be able to have a clearer idea of who exactly has been affected by this problem, possibly information on the cause and a timeline to sorting out the payment.

I am very sorry that about the delay and the trouble this has caused for you. Getting paid on time is very a big deal. We will be working to resolve this and push the payments through as soon as we can.
