Temporarily held by the review team...

Hi guys,

I’m just wondering how often are you seeing this thing: “Temporarily held by the review team”. I have one pending file, after having problems 2-3 days with the upload, i got it under review since friday because the reviewer said i have the fonts included in the zip file. I removed those but in this morning he said they are still in my zip file. So i removed all the files and upload again, now my file is again held by the review team – 13 h for now…

I’m just wondering with it takes so long to double check a zip archive since the other files are ok. First time it was 2 days, now there are another 13h and i think it will be more.

Had this a couple of times and it generally takes between 2-3 days.

But it can all depend on how much is been reviewed

I had many instances of files being held because of my technical inabilities with formatting etc. but as time goes by i am learning the correct ways. I am sure there are many like me, so it is really like an extra review process. always 2-3 days, sometimes more.

Ever since the review process got updated I’ve had every single item held by the review team. All were accepted. 2 were soft rejected (then accepted upon re-submission).

I think the reviewers get temporarily blinded by the beauty of my designs and need a time out before accpeting my files – but that may be just my personal opinion

I had files in the past held for review and i have had 3 different results, file rejected, file soft rejected and had the file accepted, you just never know whats going to happen.

It pays to double check your item has all the part it needs this saves time getting items submitted!

They just wanna show the design to their pals: “WOW – check this out!”

One of our items was held for the same exact reason – we had to remove the fonts from the zip-file.. After that, it took approximately 1 day to get accepted. Having an item held by the reviewer doesnt mean to be automatically uppn the first in the queue after editing the file – you basically have to wait again for some time

A other item was held too and it got rejected after a few hours… Happens
