Thanks, devs….

Finally an update to the home page that puts all the keywords buyers might Google in one place….

Cinema4d is now Cinema 4D and appears twice
Project Files is now After Effects and altogether has five occurences (including the page title)
The word Projects is also in the page title.
File / Files appears all over the place
Stock is mentioned as part of Stock Footage
Motion Graphics appears twice
Files crops up twice as All Files in the drop down and the search box
There’s a couple of “tutorials” in there too, for good measure.
There are two free’s as well. Although I’m not sure that’s a healthy search

The only one I can think of that’s missing is Template, but that’s a small thing in the grand scheme of things. This is a subtle but possibly far-reaching improvement and I’m sure that it will begin to bring in more traffic.

Anyway a few months ago a search on After Effects project didn’t even bring Videohive up on the first page of Google. Now, it’s number 2.

just joking if you are logged in Google the results may be different because of your recent searches so it might be number one in your computer! I agree that this is outstanding, looks like someone has done some research on SEO !

You guys can thank Lance for most of the SEO stuff. He was really hammering it all out a few months ago and it seems like his hard work paid off. Although SEO is never really done, we’ll continue working at it!

One thing to note, after doing a little research we found that the word Template, when associated with After Effects was searched far less than project files. In future work, we’ll try to push templates some more, but with Projects we’re hitting a far larger user base.

That’s great news! What about changing “After Effects” in the main menu to “After Effects Projects”? There’s certainly room for it. What do you guys think?
