Top New Authors

Hello guy’s.

I just logged in and saw that I was listed as #1 under “Top New Authors” with 45 sales since I signed up on the 14th of April and figured I might as well introduce myself. I originally signed up to Flashden.net when there were under 15,000 total members. I was all over the forum but I didn’t participate much as far as uploading Flash content back then and canceled my membership a while ago. Obviously I have since re-joined the group and so far the experience has been pretty good!

My name is Joshua Geiger and I am an award-winning designer form Atlanta, GA (thats in the U.S. in case you didn’t know) with a little over a decade of professional design experience. In this time, I’ve worked with clients like PepsiCo, Yahoo!, UPS , MasterCard and AT&T among many others. These days I have focused mostly on Logo Design & Identity Development to keep my skills focused on one niche area to keep from being a ‘Jack of all… Master of none’ kind of guy.

On top of being a designer, I also have started a website called “SuiteTuts” (won’t post a link here but it on my profile) that provides 1080p HD Video training from Adobe Certified Instructors along with resources, and awesome prize giveaways. Right now we’re giving away an iPad 2 & Smartcover!

Anyway, just to wrap it up… I am also an avid Ducatista and the only thing I love more than design and motorcycles, is my 11 year old pit-bull/rottweiler mix Sasha or playing one of my beautiful USA PRS guitars. I’m a laid back guy (most of the time) and I’m always willing to lend a hand when I can.

I didn’t know that list existed, and to my amazment, I’m on it as well! Anyway, glad you decided to come back to the community, a good artist is hard to find and we want them all here. I’ll be sure to check out your profile and website. Be safe on that crotch rocket!

Congratulations on the achievement. Not to detract from your congratulations, but Im surprised that I am not on this list. I have one item with 21 sales 7 ratings and only just became an author in April. Hrm

@Styles503 – Your profile says you have been a member since September 2010. I’m not exactly sure ow it works but that may have something to do with it. It’s “new” authors and I’m not sure what the cut-off is for a “new” author…

Yeah, I kind of thought the same thing….except for the fact that there are other authors on the list that show they’ve been a member since June 2010 and September 2010. I think it has more to do with when you first became an author, i.e. when your first file was approved for sale. No big deal, I just thought I would be on the list.
