The air balloon look actually reduces the fun. It would be more funny if it was realistic.

One of my relatives has a dog spoiled by poor food habits and looked awkward. It was too obys that its legs spread 4 directions like a turtle even while walking. Sadly its life ended when it was just 4 years old – it looked normal when it was 2 years old.

Could have been a heart condition, which caused fluid to surround the heart a Deuretic could have helped. Our 11 yr old Newf is on pills daily, not becuase she is fat but thru heart issues.

Its really similar to some of the dogs walking the streets in Bangkok, some of them are really really fat, to the point of having their legs bent because of the weight. Sadly the amount of abandoned dogs/cats in Thailand is really high, and the reason behind why they get extremely fat is because since this is a Buddhist country, people make offerings with food at certain temples, trees, parks etc and with the additional non stop street food markets, dogs find it really easy to get fed and grow beyond belief.

That’s an interesting insight, now I know my dog is perfectly normal when she can’t stop eating. She is not fat because we dose her the food of course, but I always wondered what would happen if she had an unlimited access to food.

^ I think most animals don’t eat to the obese level regardless of availability of food. But after getting badly habituated by pet owners (raising taste / temptation level etc), it happens. So the abandoned pets has more chance to get addicted towards food.
