Hi The_Chemist,
I just know one term (item) that a client once used when we had a deal, it’s called “follow-on” and I guess maybe that’s what your client means with “follower” . Actually it’s of the same size (and some design elements) with the letter head design, but a bit more simple to be used as the template for the pages after the first page template (letterhead) .
It’s kinda confusing in my explanation, I know
. Anyway, Google leads me to this page of a guy whose portfolio has somewhat of “follow-on” design I meant above. Check it out
. Link
Here in the U.S. a sales person would call that a “Follow-Up” Call or Letter.
You have a Lead, send a reminder about the business association and either supply more information to the client or offer your services.

Hi The_Chemist,
If the letters of a company are longer than 1 page…. companies use a design for the second sheet’s letterhead (known as a Follower), which does not contain all the elements of the company’s letterhead. (You could call it a light version of the company’s letterhead)

awesome, thanks a lot guys! i was really clueless when i heard about the term, now it’s crystal clear because of your information and even images! I wish you all good luck especially sales!
cheers!
Of Course!
Yes!!
That little second page that usually has just the name and address line.
I used to print those long ago, but not too many companys’ would order them, aside from your bigger companies.
first page, Larger logo and everything. second page, everything minimalized.
I remember now, they were called “Follower page” – that was about 20 years ago for me!
Huh, I’ve just learn’t something new too! Literally just done one of these this morning for a client but neither of us referred to it as a ‘follower’ – now I know the correct term! Handy.
