Hey,

I like your style. I am no expert myself but i would like to give a friendly review about this.

First One is Awesome except the bottom part which somehow isnt blending well with the overall design.

Second one is perfect as it is.

Third i am not sure of it lacks elements. Try adding more stuff to it like speakers swirls etc. PIMP IT UP.

Cheers bro.

I think that if you put a nice gradient or nice looking bakcground ( its a littlebit boring now ) on the second flyer its gonna be a big selling one. Absolutely great design.

blacc360,

“Hell’s Angel” -

For this flyer I can see the angel statue/3d rendering located behind the main title being a visual problem in its current form. I would suggest try turning it into a silhouette and leaving it in the same position to allow for better reading and more definitive area differences (my eye seems to get caught up in thinking that angel is somehow part of the main background while being connected to the title/info area).

I think the stroke around the centered DJ/location text forces that particular text out of the uniformity I see between all of the rest of the text in the flyer. I feel something should be done about that stroke… Taking it away. Also, the”J” in DJ doesn’t appeal to me with that particular font. I like the rest of the letters and how they flow with each other but that J is strange amongst the rest.

I think the “TalylorMade Entertainment Presents” area might look much better and more uniform with the rest of the design if it had metallic-styled growth vines (similar to the ones in the lower information area) incorporated into it somehow.

Finally, something about that hard, straight edge at the bottom of the lower text area’s background just doesn’t seem to work for the flyer (in my eyes). The top of that text area consists of completely curves, and this area would be the only area in the entire flyer consisting of a hard straight edge. I would say give a go at expanding those lower vines out towards the flyer’s edge to do away with the hard straight, abrupt stop in the text area’s design. I feel it would flow better.

“Just Dance” -

I really like this for the most part. I would do something for the purchasers by including a silhouette model and allowing them to use it as a mask/clipping-mask for whatever background image they wanted to replace your multi-face/cityscape background image with.

“A Night Called House of Seduction” -

The background image works very well. I like the fonts and color scheme you’ve come up with to work with the background image. I really do feel that the lower text area will need more work in alignment, text tracking and size, outline and so forth. The colors, fonts and general idea for this area is good, but it can be dramatically improved.

In conclusion, all of these have the potential to be Graphic River merchandise I feel. See what you can do to to make the improvements necessary for a real finished touch, not only visually, but functionality wise (psd organization) as well. In terms of the amount of work you will need to do to come up with a finished product for each flyer I would say it falls in this manner…

LESS TIME: Just Dance > Hell’s Angel > A Night Called House of Seduction :MORE TIME
