I used to practice kyokushin. At the moment I am practicing a different style of karate, and a bunch of other martial arts, but I have huge respect kyokushin.
In my opinion, the best way to gain the “never give up, never surrender” attitude is through martial arts training!

I was one of the highest belts and we kept re-doing the same beginner stuff for the lower belts each week. Wasn’t learning anything new. Started up again a couple of years ago but had to start at white belt, got told off for doing advanced moves, then had car accident so could go for months.
