Jordan, you’re a nice guy, but constantly relaying the “it’s coming soon”, “hang tight”, “almost there”, etc from the boys upstairs is not helping your cause. Just say it like it is—it’s not coming soon.
I belive someone from staff recently told that we shouldn’t wait for a better comments section to give support for theme as it won’t come soon. I can’t find it right now, but it I’ve decided to setup my own support forum after reading that.

I love Envato and I’m sure they are great people and aren’t just trying to screw their users over, but come on, let’s be honest here, this “in the pipeline” bullsh*t is getting old and certainly making you look bad. You’re a highly profitable company that can afford to hire 20 more devs if that’s what it takes. Jordan, you’re a nice guy, but constantly relaying the “it’s coming soon”, “hang tight”, “almost there”, etc from the boys upstairs is not helping your cause. Just say it like it is—it’s not coming soon.I’ve been here for almost 3 years now and some of these issues and requests have been around since then. Redesign (refresh, update, whatever you want to call it) after redesign brings nothing but useless gimmicky add-ons. Almost all of the requests mentioned in this thread (too many to even retype here…) have been around for over a year at the very least. A year. The hell could you possibly be doing that you can’t roll these things out after a year? If you’re struggling to keep up with the work, perhaps you should hire additional capable developers. You certainly have the money considering the type of sales that go on just on ThemeForest…
And to everyone else who posted in this thread: don’t hold your breath. It’s better to just not expect anything because I honestly can’t remember the last time they made a significant, useful update and that’s the truth. You can bash me for complaining all you want but that won’t change the fact that nothing useful is ever released even though features have been requests dozens of different times, supported by dozens upon dozens of authors.
Exactly. We can discuss how useful a cart system would be and we could even create mock-up designs and everything, but sadly, this just won’t be coming any time soon.
I’m starting to think creating our own userscript would be the fastest way of getting this done.
This community have brought out more useful features than Envato has implemented.
On a brighter note, Appnitro’s Machform just released version 3! That only took them 6 years.
Maybe we should get JG Wentworth involved? IT’S OUR UPDATES AND WE WANT THEM NOW !!!!

Man did I open a can of worms here or what…. but I just wanted to add I’m in total agreement with the majority vote on here that stuff that needs doing (NEEDS DOING !) and has for years (YEARS!) never gets done and that with the incomes you earn from author files and brag about as a company growing at tremendous rate you really obviously need more devs… if we can see it as users then those that matter inside the company HAVE to see it – I know we are all wasting our time here going on about one thing and another, I do it every time, I write about something and click submit and then regret even doing it to be honest, it’s rather deflating to be sat here seeing obvious things and being fed the same s**^ all the time.
Then it escalates to become a slanging match and Collis pops in and with his usual calm well written replies says something along the lines of trust me we know and are really working hard and and and …. And then all the newer authors (who haven’t seen this before) come along and say things like awesome reply Collis, looking forward to things and you rock etc but we all know it’s just great public relations in the end – sorry Collis love ya man but that’s the pattern we have all come to expect.
Anyways, as I said not sure there is much more point in people posting more and more requests – even though some companies would DIE for this free feedback from users – it’s probably time to let this thread die it’s death… just like all the others.

Probably worth noting the Envato are looking to recruit a Marketplace Development Manager, Senior Developer & a Developer – So I guess they do understand they need more Devs

Senior Developer + A Developer.
Don’t know about yourself, but I manage to count two.

Well I did read the other day that one of the main lead devs left so in fact they are attempting to increase the devs by a whole one. I think. As one is a replacement.

I was just counting “developers” without the fancy title bit going on.

I just double checked at the postings
“We’re looking for a few friendly, technically competent developers to augment the team. “
