hello dude, I can open your files with the Photoshop CS2 ??
Hi verticalstudio, Did you mean you can’t open them in CS2 ?
I want to buy it, but I have version CS2 can open the file with this version?
I’ve had a look into and the files will open in CS2 . The only thing i was concerned about is the ‘Warp text feature’ used to create the arched text on the banners. It does say that Photoshop CS2 has this feature so im sure it will work.

I hate to ask such a thick question, but… I’d like to lengthen the ribbon but can’t seem to find the corresponding layer(s). What’s the trick? I’m using PS CS3 v 10 in case that matters(?).

There should be a base layer highlighted yellow – double click this and it will open in illustrator and you will be able to edit the length in illustrator.

hi Sam – i think you’re referring to the color layer? (this is the one that stands out in yellow)... unfortunately, in my version of PS, double-clicking on these only opens the effects options (unless i’m not doing something right which is entirely possible)
For now, i’m just re-creating the general shape and in most cases (not all) i’m able to scale the other layers. Kind of a pain but hey…

it looks like the base image is a merged layer (not editable) so i’ve had to re-create that and re-size the effects. A bit of an extra step but so far, it suffices.
Great ribbons, I just wish you made it easier to resize certain segments of the ribbons rather than the whole thing. For instance I would like to resize the oval in the middle of the ribbon but that layer is not editable on its own.

Thanks very much, i agree these ribbons were created some time ago and in retrospect it would probably benefit to be a lot more customisable. Maybe I will create a future set which will include all the latest requests.
