HI

I downloaded your file but the .ASL file is empty – I have tried this twice and the same occurred both times. Is this a problem?

My email address is carmelcreaner@eircom.net.

Many thanks,

Carmel

Hi Carmel, the file with the .ASL extension is an Adobe Photoshop Style file. You have to add this file into Photoshop before you are able to use it. You might already added this by a double click into Photoshop, so first you have to find your Styles Palette. If it’s not visible, go to Window > Styles. If you still not see the Styles over there, navigate the cursor onto the top right of the palette, there will be a small arrow pointing to the right or down depending on your platform or PS version. Just click on this arrow button and it will bring up/down a menu. In this menu, select > Load Styles. Browse to you saved .ASL file, and load it. That’s it!

If i was not accurate or hard to understand my explanation check this tutorial: http://photoshoplayerstyles.com/tutorials

Please let me know if you find the solution or even you need more help.

It worked thank you so much! Really appreciate your help, C

I just purchased the 30 Freehand Ink and Other Artistic Styles. I know how to load the ASL file without any problem. However, I’m not clear on how to use the two PSD files. Do you have any kind of tutorial on how to use these files. Kind of confusing. Shawn
