I would like to buy it, but is there any chance of a vector file?

EnjoyTheFresh

Hi there, yes you can, simply open the psd file there after the vector object and save it as an eps file in photoshop. Thereafter simply open the .eps in illustrator and you can edit it as a vector. Best

Hi, im not really good in Photoshop and i dont understand how edit the “transparent” words, you know, for example, i need change Psychedelic Candy word in the first badge or NEW YORK in the last. How i make this? I see the “mask” but i don’t understand how edit or work this. you can help me? sorry for that. thank you!

Hi there,

  • Click the eye icon of the hidden text
  • Hit Ctrl+Click the text layer in the layer panel
  • Click the layer mask of the base design and hit delete

You can also just right click the text layer and click ‘convert to shape’ once you have edited the text, then select it and paste it in the base design. Doing this however does make it uneditable.

Hello,

I have the same question as the previous person. I would like to alter the text within the banner but I am not sure I know how to. I tried to follow the steps that you provided above but I couldn’t understand what you said. Could you possibly mention step by step once again on how it can be done.

Thank You,

Hi – I just purchased the files and they look good.

I’m really curious about the blurred effect you created for the background. I’d like to apply something blurred and burnt like you used in the promo images. Any chance you could share how you created the background?

Thanks!

Hi there,

sure we can. If you have your background image in Photoshop simply go:

1. Right click layer and select ‘Convert to Smart Object’ 2. Go Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur (select your blur amount) 3. Go FIlter > Noise > Add Noise…

And that is pretty much it : )

Ha well that’s easy enough! Thanks. I thought you did some more with levels or curves to get the effect.

Thanks again!

I don’t know what I am doing wrong, but when I open this up in PS (I am using CS5), I can’t edit anything. I see all the folders, but when I “expand” them I can’t edit anything? Help!!

Hi there,

just double click the little square on the layer. The badges are smart objects, which means that if you double click the layer the editable version will open in a new window.

Should’ve provided a vector file

Hi there,

we may update it to include a .eps version. But as the file info states, currently its only in psd. Keep in mind that they are still fully scalable and can easily be copied into illustrator.

Best,
