My Comments: I wanted to submit a unique approach to this competition. And to at-least inspire someone. Here is a description of my image. The green and yellow represent the earth and sun light. The image fades into a tangle of glowing white, which represents the connection of networks and movement of information. To help me bookmark the right things, I wrote a hypothetical concept. It became my theme and also helped me create an image for my collection. My Theme: This collection will visually describe an environmentalist group of techno-savvy people who wish to serve other green thinkers. They would supply users with e-storage, and operate from an ecologically hi-tech facility. This service would be dedicated to the promotion of carbon offset solutions in business. The service would inform users about changes in weather and the ability of the data facility to perform optimally for the environment. A user would have access to the service using a capable internet device. The service would permit users to upload a plethora of different file types, with the ability to preview content before its retrieval. A user would buy the storage they needed as they grew their profile. They could also purchase service add-ons, based upon their needs and technical ability. My Finishing Words: Although the selection is broad, there is enough similarity between these items that if they were all to be together in one place there would be little or no visual conflict. Even alone these items are useful because they are, well made, vibrantly rich, and what they are for is clearly understood.
