Basically it is a layered photoshop file and you can customize the color of the different layers. Allowing you to create a plethora of different backgrounds from this template.

Quite the rhetorical question you ask here. Its just a guide, you can add to it if you’d like and jazz it up some more. its just to get you started, and its also nice to test out color schemes. Just like anything else, the creativity is in the designer, not the tools you use to design. Get it?
