Hi Giallo, I would like to use the action to enlarge to a specific size. How do I do this?
Great tool! Amazing results for a great price. I have compared it to other fancy much more expensive “super size” filters. This one is just as good or even better. I use it for transparent pngs as well it does a great job.
Thanks!! Very much appreciated estrada
It really isn’t THAT bad, people have to remember that its not going to make the photo look as if its the original high res image from the camera.
If the photo is already small, its not going to help it much. But I’ve had some medium sized images (1024 X 768) that I wanted to enlarge and I found this action and you know what? It actually did a pretty decent job at it. It was much better than it was anyways. I even had some photos that was around 2000px wide and used this to enlarge it and it totally made a big difference, especially for sharing on Facebook or such.
I took a couple photos that I’ve taken with my DSLR and shrunk them and then used this to enlarge them to see how good it actually worked. Certain type of photos it worked well, but photos that already have sharpening and already been edited, don’t look good at all. Actually worse.
But I didn’t buy this to do that anyways since I back up my original RAW files from my camera now.
I bought this action for older photos I took with a point and shoot many many years ago that I was stupid and resized the original high res files. For this, it works fantastic.
I wished I had known this action when I had a photo of my dog blown up after he passed away. It would of made the blown up image a hell of a lot better. I suppose I could always redo that photo down the road.
Thanks for making this.
Best feedback ever buddy, is great to read you know everything about and how to use this. I use it the same way + when I’ve small image sources to use in my photomontages and illustrations. As you say the result may vary, but it’s very usefull in many situations. The cool thing is if you use expensive famous plugins you won’t achieve better results, this is the max we can get right now. Cheers thanks for stopping by,
