Anyone else having problems with this file? I’m unable to edit text…even after downloading roadway—please help
Are you opening it in CS3 or higher? Also, make sure your text layers aren’t locked. Let me know if you’re still having trouble.

I just purchased this file, does it not come up as layers for editing in photoshop cs5?

Thanks for your purchase! This file was only created using Illustrator so it comes as an ai and eps file (as listed on the product page). I heard that if you have fireworks you can open it there and save for photoshop if you don’t have illustrator. If you do have illustrator CS5 , you can export it for photoshop if you’re more comfortable working in that instead. Hope this helps!
YOU ’RE INVITED – uneditable All other text showing up in wrong font size, nuisance.
Hey, I’m sorry you’re having trouble! There shouldn’t be any issues with the the other text showing up as the wrong font size. Are you using at least CS3 and have all the fonts installed? YOU ’RE INVITED should be editable..the stroke inside of it was created using the pen tool, so that part isn’t (no free fonts that are similar enough to use). Let me know if I can be of any help!
AVOID THIS TEMPLATE . Here is why:
Very poor documentation. The AI file is poorly put together. “YOU’RE INVITED ” is not editable… you’re stuck with it as it is. All other font sizes on editing need a lot of work to get to fit correctly into places as they automatically resize inconveniently. THIS IS AN AMATEUR TEMPLATE , which looks pretty, but is very disfunctional. AVOID . Using CS5 . Already decided to find another template for my sons baptism. Easily one of the worst purchases I have made on GR.
I am very sorry you were unhappy with your purchase. I am a little unsure of the problems you seem to be having with the resizing of text; this is the first I’ve heard of that issue, after nearly 200 sales. Nonetheless, I am always here for any purchaser of the file and will do my absolute best to help out. I’ll take another look at the file tonight (as it was created quite some time ago), and will go through it to address the concerns you have listed, and if necessary, I will release an updated file. I would have really appreciated it if we could have talked this through before this comment.
Its a CS5 issue with the slicing… i got a warning message when it was loading. At least I think that is the issue.
I see above this template does not come in layers for Photoshop? I don’t have illustrator to convert files. Is this still the case with this template?
