can you edit in photoshop cs?

OK I figured it out, you need to double click on the smart object icon on the layer you want to edit. You then have a flat image to edit, then save and close and you are updated.

This was new to me, but found the needed info here: http://www.peachpit.com/articles/article.aspx?p=1249000

So, knowing to doubleclick the smart icon OR rightclicking the layer and chosing “Edit contents” – it is indeed very easy to edit the images.
