With most effect type filters or in this case an ‘action’, results will no doubt vary depending on the image being effected. However, do you have any suggestions as to how to ‘tone down’ the noise and saturation of the effects? Short of duplicating an image working on one and then ‘bending the two together, I’m not having much luck in achieving pleasing results.

thanks for contacting me. Altering the product of a photo action is relatively easy, as long as you have sufficient photoshop knowledge. I can provide extra assistance if you contact me via my profile page.
Firstly, click ‘window’ then select ‘actions’ from the list. If you have loaded the action into photoshop find it in the list and click the small arrow to the left. This expands the contents of the action and displays all the steps within it. At any time you can pause the action and make the adjustment yourself. My action can easily be modified to suit the individual photo. If you are still having no luck send me an email, or alternatively send me the photo(s) and I would love to professionally edit it myself for you.
