1. Basically, it all depends on what YOU need. 30 Film Effects includes more corporate-like, film, photography and classical actions (i.e. contrasts, brighteners, sharpeners, lomo, vintage, vignettes, lights, etc…). 42 Special Effects offers mostly rare, unique and.. special actions, such as environments, color effects, night-vision, HDRis, comic-styles, movie-effects (i.e. matrix, sin city, 300, etc..) and much more..

So I’d recommend you to think precisely about what you need, and then buy the appropriate actions pack

2. No, they are VERY fast. Trust me when I say that. I’ve personally made them very fast as I appreciate time a lot. An action on a 4000×4400 image could take 3-5 seconds.. It obviously depends on the action itself.
