hello, I downloaded this, and can’t open it. I got restaurant menu.indd. i tried to open it with photoshop and but no luck, can someone shine some light on this?

hi, thanks you for your purchased. what do u mean solid background? if you refer folder named links there were file i named bg.tif. where grunge background located. you have to open Restaurant-Menu-Template.indd at Adobe Indesign to see everything in the layout. refer documentation for more tips.

Don’t be scared mate. Actually this template not require any advance technique to use it. it just simplify your work without needed to make layer per layer in photoshop. this brochure more suitable using indesign than photoshop. you just need to replace image and text. thats all.

hi, the simplest way when exporting tick menu spread. you will get A3 size open. when printing reduce size to A4 size open, i mean fit to pages to A4 paper. You will get A5 size closed.

I cannot open this file in photoshop it is flattened I need the file unflattened…this was a waste of my money….not happy first time user and thought it would have a psd file that I could use…
Sorry gwilliford316 might be you missed to look at the requirement at description that said you must have Adobe Indesign CS3 or later. You can try download from adobe.com indesign application. dont sad mat, designing layout not specifically only using photoshop, many application out there and most best layouting is adobe indesign.

when i cvreate oulines in indesign the dashed lines that sperates the paragraphes when i press enter dissapears
whta might have caused this
pretty much cant outline the dashed line that comes from the paragraph style, before sending to print
yes. you can’t create outline for the dashed line. it will missing the dashed, i also got the same problem. maybe that problem comes from adobe itself.
the easiest way just export to pdf high quality Print for the preset menu. i have no problem for printing with pdf format. hope this will help you.

actually with the new technology printing company i found they take JPEGS which is cool too
actually the best print quality is pdf with no quality reduce, it will output the sharp typeface & best image quality. but jpeg compresssion also got no problem only small reduction maybe you dont mind about that..
