Skin Color Correction & Enhacement Actions #1

Thanks for the constructive comment. These actions are designed to be used in a more professional manner, which does not always translate into “one-click and that’s it.

Because every photo is different, the layers that the actions produce are adjustable to best compliment that particular image.

The Color Beauty #1 filter in the package provides a color boost as well as other enhancements. The best results are achieved when it is applied to a well exposed and color-balanced image. ( That is what the “enlighten” & the “balance” actions are for respectively ).

There is such a wide variation to poor photography that I tried to design a set that could be applied to most every situation. ( #1 is for fair to medium tan skin, the following sets will be for other variations in skin tone )

There is no one-click solution for such wide variation, but once you understand how to use them I’m sure you will be pleased.

If you start off with a well exposed and color-balanced photo you can go directly to the Color Beauty #1 action. After applying it then you can adjust the opacity and /or the fill slider in the layers palette to suit.

Point well taken… Since it will be my first, what screen capture software would you suggest I use?

Sorry, I wish I could help more, but I can’t suggest any. I have used Camtasia in the past, but I did not like it. If you have not used Camtasia, It may be worth the free demo test drive.
