good work mate, good luck
Beautiful work. Great presentation.
Thanks guys, still plenty to learn though!
Just 2 dollars. AWESOME !
Do you have a live demo of this? I really want to buy it but want to see it working…thanks!
Nice!
Your live demo sold it to me. I’ll buy it right after this. Great job!!
After purchasing it I recognized that this is not as customizable as I initially thought.
First, the navigation bar itself is a graphic. To change the text you’ll have to edit that graphic instead of simply edit some HTML code. It’s a bit more work than expected but that’s OK.
However, my troubles started when I tried to take away some of the navigation. Originally this navigation has 7 items (Home | Single Page | ...) but I only needed 4. I modified the graphics and changed the text.
Next I assumed I could simply remove the 3 list items, which I don’t need, within the HTML code. However, if I do that the end of the navigation bar will disappear.
Of course, even that is fixable within the CSS code but I hoped it would not be that difficult. Such a main navigation usually should be changeable by simply edit the HTML and the CSS code should adapt automatically. This is not the case here or I am missing something.
I still think it’s a good piece of work. But I would not recommend it if you have a website which the main navigation changes often.
Hi Jakob,
I’m sorry that this file was not all you had hoped.
Unfortunately I cannot update or change the HTML /CSS demo of this file as these are no longer allowed on this marketplace (as it overlaps with CodeCanyon). Instead the demo is meant as exactly that, just a demo of how you could use the photoshop file.
I do appreciate though that with the recent developments with CSS3 – this file could be created with almost no images whilst still being flexibile etc and thus 100% editable within the HTML code. With this in mind, I may consider removing this file altogether.
In any case, thanks for the feedback and the purchase
Thanks for the follow up. That shows that you’re serious about your work and I appreciate that.
I wouldn’t remove it. It’s still a great navigation bar for a website, which does not changes them often. And what I valued the most was that it worked on all browsers I’ve tested it on including evil IE6 .
We have a problem with IE7 . The navigation bar is not displayed correctly, all the buttons are vertically aligned to the left edge of the page. I can send you a screen shot and the url of our page? Do you offer paid service for fixing it?
I have also sent a message from your webpage as well. thanks & sorry for the double post.
