great work … good luck :)

Glad you like it!

Unfortunately, the templates are too long to use a real trifold brochure psd to mock up a picture for my client. I am left with a large red stripe at either the top or bottom of the brochure, and I don’t seem to be able to resize the templates as one can with a normal PSD .

Is there any way you could resize the templates to fit a normal trifold brochure? The dimensions should be that the size of the flat sheet is A4 landscape (i.e. 210 × 297mm) and each DL page should measure 100mm, 99mm and 98mm wide respectively (to allow for the folds).

I can’t edit my post above or I would. I have tried the templates again, and none of them look remotely realistic, which is a shame as I liked the layout, especially the third profile. The sizing/perspective is all wrong; either the images are elongated, squashed or, as I said, have a red border somewhere, and the shadowing is not too realistic on the third profile either.

If I were more proficient at Photoshop, maybe I could rejig the whole thing, but then again, if I were more proficient at Photoshop, I wouldn’t need to shop here at GraphicRiver!

No hard feelings, but this isn’t the best example of a mockup here at GR, and not a purchase I would recommend to others.

ok bunnywuffles, I’m sorry for misunderstanding

1. left with a large red stripe at either the top or bottom – replace the layer in the smart object but not put it above;

2. print size of the mock-up is 11×8.5 inch but not 210×297 mm – fill the empty space with bleed

Thanks for your reply, aceboy.

I have persevered with this, and if I disable the shadows and reflections on the third profile, it makes a passable mockup. The main problem is that when using the smart objects, the images come out all elongated or squashed. No matter, it’s only a few dollars – my frustrations at trying to do something like this myself would cost me far more in time = money!
