how do you change the splash color to match the drink?
You will need to edit with a colour overlay layer style
Do I need a bottle, or Is it okay to use other objects?
should be ok to use other objects too, but it was originally optimized for long objects such as bottles.
It’s fully editable so I can’t see why not 
Don’t forget to check out volume 2 
Where do you get the bottle images from to customize?
I can’t remember now, but if you purchase and require them I’ll send over.
