Image / logo / text distresser will turn anything into a beautiful, grunge Ink splash. You only have to right click the “Image Holder” (marked in red) and to choose “Edit Contents“. Then you can paste your image, text, etc and to arrange them. You’ll see an orange marked folder called “Splashes” with 3 different sets of splash elements that you can turn on and off (combine them for best results). Then save that window and it will update the image in the main file where you can choose between 6 colors and 2 backgrounds (colors are marked in green, backgrounds in purple). There are two layers on top marked in blue with scratches (light and dark, that you can turn on and off as needed). It won’t work with simple photos, it needs transparency in order to perform the best – so you should vectorize your photos in illustrator first and extract only dark elements. Preview example is not layered in the file.
