the photography seems a bit dark… is that just the mockups or the file? would I be losing some of the cardboard texture details if I brighten it up?
The images are slightly underexposed (my personal preference for this particular project). You will not lose any texture or detail if you brighten up the image correctly (not clipping highlights etc). I suggest you download a preview image and experiment with it.
