The characters are made with pattern brushes so it’s easy to modify the shape and weight of each one.

If you don’t have Illustrator, you can still use the alphabets and backgrounds by opening them up in Photoshop. Each one is saved as an individual eps file, and the alphabets are on transparent backgrounds. Because these are vector files you can make them as large as you want by setting the resolution upon opening.
